Bone Marrow Transplant Unit

The Wesley Hospital’s Leukaemia Foundation Bone Marrow Transplant Unit is one of two private transplantation units in Queensland.

 

Opened in 1996, it is a high dependency unit that provides high quality nursing care for acutely ill patients with blood cancers and those undergoing transplantation. This unit is unique because of the comprehensive, collaborative and compassionate nature of the care it is able to provide its patients.

 

The unit also plays an integral role in the Wesley’s commitment to excellence in cancer care.
