The Wesley Hospital boosts the second largest private art collection in Queensland. The art works are displayed throughout the corridors, wards and private rooms of the hospital for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff. The works making up the collection have been donated to the hospital by  artists and hospital supporters. In addition other works are loaned by artists, private galleries, public institutions and schools.

The Wesley Hospital maintains an active art program and firmly believes that art expresses the richness and diversity of human life, and the joy of the creative spirit within each of us and as such is an important part of a balanced community and a healthy life. The Wesley's Art Curator, Maureen Hansen, manages The Wesley Art Collection and the activities of The Wesley Art Program, which include artists' commissions and promotional events.
