Emeritus Professor William Coman is a Consultant in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
Prior to moving over to the Wesley to consult, Professor Coman was appointed as Consultant ENT Surgeon to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, also serving as the Professor of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery since 1999.
He has been the Chair and Trustee of the Garnett Passe Rodney Williams Foundation since 2011 and during this time he has organised overseas training for Australian registrars at a variety of universities around the world. Some 36 overseas Fellows and researchers have worked in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, under his patronage at the University of Queensland and Griffith University; where he also served as Professor of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
He has supervised and mentored over a dozen PhD students throughout his career and continues to do so.
