Clinical rotations

The Wesley offers a full-time 12-month Graduate Nurse Program, consisting of two six-month, specialised clinical rotations (perioperative is non-rotational), where you will have the opportunity to consolidate your skills and broaden your experience, setting you up for success. As these are permanent roles, you will be offered a permanent position at the end of the program. Graduate nurse positions are offered within one of the following three streams:

  • General Nursing Stream

  • Midwifery/Nursing Stream

This program allows new graduates with dual nursing and midwifery registrations to work across all areas of midwifery, including labour ward, post-natal and special care nursery, and to complete a general nursing rotation.

  • Perioperative Stream

    The perioperative stream offers graduates a 12-month, non-rotational scrub/scout program, or a 12-month anaesthetics/recovery program with a six-month rotation in each area.
