The Wesley Hospital Auxiliary raised an impressive $90,000 this financial year, in aid of much-needed hospital equipment and education.

President of the Auxiliary Stephanie Kidd said the group was extremely proud to support the purchase of a Portable Ultrasound Sonosite Machine, Bladder Scanner, ECG Machine and $10 000 nursing bursary.

"When you see what our efforts have done, and what we contribute to the hospital... our work is really worthwhile."

This month, the Auxiliary held their annual Fashion Parade, accompanied by a beautiful home-baked luncheon provided by the Auxiliary ladies and a craft store.

National Stylist Tracy from Rodney Clarke talked attendees through styling considerations to suit different body types, while models showcased the latest fashion collection

“I am just so proud of the continuing hard work my committee members put in to make events such as the Fashion Parade so successful,” said Stephanie.

The Auxiliary hold for Easter, Mother's Day and Christmas, in addition to hosting a Musical Afternoon and Fashion Parade in October.

The Christmas Stall will run from 2-6 December outside Wesley Medical Imaging.
