Let Us Know launches at the Wesley

14 December 2015

Let Us KnowThe Wesley Hospital has introduced a new process to further assist a rapid response to the concerns of families and carers about a patient's condition, called Let Us Know.

Let us Know was launched on December 11 2015, following endorsement by the Medical Advisory Committee. Director of Nursing Callan Battley said the initiative provides a clear series of steps for families and carers to follow - and a 24-hour hotline - to alert nurses, doctors and other staff of back about a change in their loved ones' condition.

The designated 1800 number (1800 872 255) is now operational and will be answered by the Hospital Nurse Manager who will respond, visit the patient and escalate as appropriate.
