Dr Joseph (Jo) Schoeman is a Functional Urologist with special interest in: BPH, Urinary Incontinence and Prostate Cancer, covering: 

- Management options for BPH: Rezum, iTIND and Greenlight Laser Vaporization, TURP and Robotic Assisted Enucleation.

- Incontinence surgery: Sacroneuromodulation, Intravesical BOTOX, Peri-urethral Bulking and Autologous Slings.

- Prostate cancer: Robotic Assisted Radical Prostatectomy

Dr Schoeman offers a holistic service in Urology with a particular focus on incontinence in both the male and female patients. He maintains a passion for ureteric and renal calculi management, optimizing the combined use of up-to-date endoscopic equipment with laser technology.

He also offers Oncology treatment in the form of a traditional Radical Retropubic Prostatectomy and Laparoscopic Radical Nephrectomy. 

Dr Jo Schoeman obtained his undergraduate degree, MBChB at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, in 1993. He went on to complete his first Urology Fellowship (FCS), College of Urologists of South Africa, in 2003 and  migrated to Australia in 2007. After becoming a Fellow in laparoscopic urology surgery in Melbourne, he was in Private and Public General Urology Practice. He was the sole Urologist in Bundaberg, regional Queensland for five years and still visits weekly.
