Dr Laurence Leong

Dr Laurence Leong was initially a medical graduate from University of Adelaide in 2000. After a brief sojourn studying to be a professional singer, he started training as a general practitioner in 2005 and received his fellowship qualification in 2008. Since 2010, he has been working in the palliative medicine field and received his specialist qualification in 2015.

He moved from Adelaide to Brisbane in 2018 to take up this current palliative care specialist position at the Wesley Hospital. Laurence is grateful for all the support he has received during this transition and hopes to make a useful contribution to the Wesley Palliative Care Service.
