Dr Matthew Accatino

Dr Matthew Accatino is a Consultant Endocrinologist providing outpatient care at the Wesley Medical Centre and inpatient care at The Wesley Hospital.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2009 and a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery from Griffith University in 2013, receiving awards for academic excellence. He completed his Endocrinology training in South East Queensland and undertook a two-year Fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr Accatino holds a Master of Medicine in Metabolic Health from the University of Sydney and is a Senior Lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland. He remains actively engaged in research and medical education.

He welcomes referrals across all areas of Endocrinology and Diabetes. His approach combines established medical principles with contemporary, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

Dr Accatino is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, the US Endocrine Society, the Australian Diabetes Society, the Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society, AusPATH and WPATH.
