Dr Pranali Patel is a Brisbane gynaecologist and fertility specialist with interests in endometriosis and pelvic pain, menstrual disorders, abnormal cervical screening and colposcopy, fertility and preconception care, recurrent pregnancy loss, adolescent gynaecology, and menopause. She also performs minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
Pranali completed her medical training in New Zealand and specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Queensland, with experience across major tertiary centres in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. She is a Staff Specialist at Mater Mothers’ Hospital and works privately at Eve Health and Monash IVF.
Her private practice emphasises longer consultations, patient education and shared decision-making, so patients have time to understand their options and choose care that aligns with their priorities. She also has a special interest in culturally informed care, recognising how background, beliefs and individual circumstances can shape health experiences and treatment preferences.
Pranali is also a Senior Lecturer and Principal Specialty Supervisor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Queensland, with particular expertise in medical education.
