Dr Rhett Morton is a subspecialist gynaecological oncologist and gynaecologist.

Rhett commenced his career as a medical engineer for an international medical device company. He then went on to study medicine graduating with honours.

Rhett trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney network and completed fellowship training in Gynaecological Oncology at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Sydney; Mercy Hospital for Women, Melbourne; and the Queensland Centre for Gynaecological Cancer - Royal Brisbane Women’s and Mater Hospitals.

He has completed further study in palliative and supportive care and global health. Rhett has an interest in minimally invasive surgery, sentinel node mapping and molecular based management of gynaecological cancers.

He is a member of Queensland Centre for Gynaecological Cancer and its Quality Assurance Committee and is actively involved in clinical research and teaching.
