Dr David Cross

Special clinical interests in Heart Failure, Lipid Disorders and Echocardiography. 

Dr David Cross is one of the longest serving members of Advara HeartCare.

He also has a long standing commitment to cardiovascular research, particularly clinical trials. He chairs the Advara HeartCare clinical research unit and has been a principal investigator in numerous important clinical studies over the past 30 years. He has also had a long term relationship with Wesley Medical Research and currently chairs their Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Research Committee.

He is a senior visiting cardiologist at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. In addition to his practice at Wesley Hospital he also regularly visits Advara HeartCare Sunshine Coast.
