Dr Dona Kafili

Dr Dona Kafili is a Respiratory and Sleep Medicine specialist with subspecialty training in both Interventional Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine. She completed her physician training in Queensland, followed by a dedicated Sleep Medicine fellowship at Sunshine Coast University Hospital and a post-FRACP Interventional Pulmonology fellowship at Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney.

Dr Kafili currently practices publicly at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and privately at Wesley Hospital. Her clinical interests span a broad range of pulmonary conditions, including airway disease, interstitial lung disease, and sleep disorders. She has a particular focus on lung cancer diagnostics, minimally invasive airway interventions, and service development. Dr Kafili is also actively involved in teaching and ongoing clinical research.
