Dr Bashirzadeh was awarded his medical degree in 1994 and his Masters in Sports Medicine 2001. He is a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, the European Respiratory Society, and the American Thoracic Society
