A/Prof Susannah Sherlock is Medical Director of Wesley Hyperbaric, located at The Wesley Hospital. A specialist anaesthetist since 1998, and a hyperbaric physician since 2005, A/Prof Sherlock commenced as a VMO at Wesley Hyperbaric in 2021.
She has worked at four hyperbaric units across Australia (Alfred Hospital, Royal Hobart Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Wesley Hyperbaric), and has a keen interest in research collaborations, having worked with several hyperbaric units nationally and internationally.
A/Prof Sherlock has an academic appointment with the University of Queensland. Her areas of interest are hyperbaric for Idiopathic Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss, Radiation Injuries and Long COVID.
