Dr Brian Wilson-Boyd is an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon specialising in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. Dr Wilson-Boyd also has a special interest in General ENT, Paediatric ENT, Head and Neck Oncology, Salivary gland, Rhinoplasty, Otoplasty, sino nasal, Otology, snoring, thyroid and voice.
Dr Wilson-Boyd studied medicine at the University of Queensland graduating in 1990. He was an intern at the Princess Alexandra Hospital before moving to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, 1992 and 1993. Dr Wilson-Boyd returned to Brisbane and completed his General Surgery Fellowship on the Brisbane Northside General Surgery training program in 1999.
He worked as a staff General Surgeon at Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospital until returning to Melbourne in 2002 to commence Otolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery training in the Victorian Training Scheme. His training was completed in 2006 as the Head and Neck Oncology fellow at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne. He returned home to Brisbane in 2007 to set up his ENT Head and Neck practice at the Wesley Hospital.
Dr Wilson-Boyd is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, and a member of the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgeons and the Australian and New Zealand Head and Neck Cancer Society.
