Important notice: The Wesley Expansion Project planned works
From 17 March until 21 April 2026, night works will be undertaken as part of The Wesley Expansion Project.
The works will be located within our main entry driveway on Chasely Street and will be undertaken nightly, Monday to Friday, from 8pm to 6am. No works are planned for Saturday or Sunday nights.
During these works, the main entry driveway will be closed from 8pm and will reopen daily at 6am.
Patients and visitors will be redirected to alternative access locations including via the Sandford Jackson Building entry (ground floor near Sandford Jackson Café and supply dock) and other designated temporary drop off areas.
Overnight access to the Wesley Emergency Centre will be maintained for pedestrians at the front of the hospital on Chasely Street via the Sandford Jackson Building entry way, to the right of the hospital main entry door.
During the daytime, family members and carers who are collecting a patient following a day procedure admission are asked to use our multi-storey car park. Visitors who use the carpark briefly for the purpose of collecting a day surgery patient will not be charged a fee.
Traffic management will be in place to assist with directing any pedestrians and vehicles.
