Dr Ali Beglou

Dr Ali Beglou is a consultant physician and geriatrician and specialises in geriatric, general and acute care medicine.

Dr Beglou has completed his training at Princess Alexandra Hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital. He practises at The Wesley Hospital and holds a staff specialist position with Queensland Health at Princess Alexandra Hospital. His special interests include comprehensive geriatric assessment, dementia, orthogeriatrics and perioperative medicine.

Dr Beglou has been actively involved in education and training at different levels, including as an examiner with the University of Queensland and as a Chief Medical Registrar during his training. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Queensland. He is a member of The Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP) and Australian and New Zealand Society of Geriatric Medicine (ANZSGM).
