Dr Ben Green

Ben is a specialist breast surgeon who works in a multidisciplinary team. He has a major focus in modern oncological regimes in managing breast cancer from early screen detected lesions to complex advanced disease. He specialises in oncoplastic breast surgical techniques to maintain the aesthetics of the breast post cancer surgery.

He is a current Board member of BreastrSurgANZ and has been the previous Director of Breast care Services at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital from 2017 until 2020. He has a major focus in teaching and is the current chair of the Breast Fellowship training in Australia and New Zealand.

Ben promotes a personalised patient centred focus in the management of breast cancer, he works closely with the support of a specialised Breast Care nurse to provide support to both patients and their families.
